SAS Broadens Reach with Enhanced Air France-KLM Codeshare

Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is boosting its global reach, offering travelers new destinations through an expanded codeshare agreement with Air France-KLM.

This strategic move significantly enhances connectivity, providing SAS customers with unprecedented access to vibrant locations across Brazil and South Africa.  

For the first time, SAS passengers can now book flights to Fortaleza and Salvador de Bahia in Brazil. These captivating cities offer a blend of rich culture and stunning landscapes.

Additionally, the agreement unlocks travel to Johannesburg and Cape Town in South Africa, opening doors to safari adventures and breathtaking coastal scenery.

Enhanced SAS-Air France KLM Partnership  


This expansion builds upon the existing strong partnership between SAS and Air France-KLM. Leveraging the extensive route networks of both airlines, passengers benefit from seamless bookings and convenient connections.

The codeshare agreement already covered numerous European routes and flights to and from Tokyo. Now, it extends to these key destinations in South America and Africa.

The benefits will extend beyond South America and Africa. The expanded agreement also strengthens connections to Asia, including destinations like Osaka and Bangkok.

SAS currently serves more than 25 million passengers annually. It also transports 60,000 tons of cargo to 135 destinations across Europe, the USA, and Asia.
