An SAS Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A320neo departing for Oslo made a return to Copenhagen after reporting a hydraulic system malfunction on 17 August 2025.
SAS Scandinavian Airlines flight SK1458 had conducted a departure from runway 04R Copenhagen Airport (CPH).
The flight was a scheduled service bound for Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL).

During the initial climb, flight crew reported the malfunction of a hydraulic system. The departure procedure was then terminated.
Flight crew entered a holding procedure, presumably to run troubleshooting checks on the malfunctioning hydraulic system.
Following a brief period of holding, a precautionary return to Copenhagen Airport was negotiated.
The aircraft subsequently landed without further incident on runway 04R, just under one hour after the flight’s initial departure.
According to The Aviation Herald, a passenger reported that a flight deck announcement had advised of a hydraulic malfunction which may potentially affect the aircraft’s landing gear.
Flight data shows that flight SK1458 had made an on-time departure out of Copenhagen airport at 12:02 PM local time on 17 August.
Following departure, the climb procedure was terminated at flight level FL110. A holding procedure was entered at that altitude to the west of the airport.
The aircraft subsequently returned for a landing on runway 04R.
