JetBlue (NASDAQ: JBLU) is expanding its presence at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL). The airline is delivering more travel options and its signature premium Mint experience to South Florida.
The airline recently announced new routes, increased flight frequencies, and broader availability of its acclaimed Mint service.
New Routes and Increased Flights
Starting soon, JetBlue will introduce year-round, nonstop flights from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta (ATL), Austin (AUS), Norfolk (ORF), and Tampa (TPA).
These additions will make it easier for South Florida residents to reach popular destinations while attracting visitors to explore the region’s sunny beaches or connect to Caribbean hotspots.
To meet rising demand, JetBlue is also adding daily flights on existing routes to Las Vegas (LAS), Los Angeles (LAX), Phoenix (PHX), Raleigh-Durham (RDU), and Richmond (RIC).
“Fort Lauderdale is a cornerstone of JetBlue’s network,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships.
“With new destinations, more flights, and our award-winning Mint service, we’re giving South Florida travelers even more reasons to fly with us.”
Mark Gale, CEO and Director of Aviation at FLL, praised the expansion. “We’re thrilled to see JetBlue add Tampa and Norfolk to our route map, resume flights to Atlanta and Austin, and increase daily frequencies on key U.S. routes. The expanded Mint experience will also enhance travel options for our passengers.”
This growth builds on JetBlue’s recent reintroduction of twice-daily service to Philadelphia and daily flights to Guayaquil, Ecuador, which began earlier this month. These moves highlight JetBlue’s focus on responding to customer needs with strategic network enhancements.
Mint Service for Fort Lauderdale Travelers
JetBlue’s premium Mint service, a reimagined take on business class, is expanding at FLL. With additional daily flights to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Phoenix, more travelers can enjoy Mint’s lie-flat seats, elevated dining, and personalized service.
This winter, all JetBlue flights from Fort Lauderdale to these cities, plus San Francisco, will feature Mint. Overall, it will offer 13 daily Mint flights.

This makes JetBlue the only airline providing domestic lie-flat seating from Fort Lauderdale this season.
“We’re excited to bring more Mint to these popular routes,” Jehn added. “Mint delivers unmatched comfort, privacy, and hospitality, creating a premium travel experience our customers love.”
Mint’s unique approach combines thoughtful design with customer-focused service, setting it apart from traditional business class.
Travelers seeking a more comfortable and refined journey will find Mint an appealing choice.
JetBlue’s Stronghold in Fort Lauderdale
For 25 years, Fort Lauderdale has been a key hub for JetBlue, serving as the airline’s first destination and a major gateway to Latin America and the Caribbean.
This summer, JetBlue operates an average of 72 daily departures to 31 nonstop destinations from FLL. By December, that number will grow to 95 daily flights to 37 cities, reflecting a 6% year-over-year increase in departures.
JetBlue’s focus on Fort Lauderdale includes offering more transcontinental lie-flat seats than any other airline in South Florida.
This commitment is combined with its award-winning service and premium offerings like Mint. It solidifies JetBlue’s position as a top choice for travelers in the region.

Looking Ahead
JetBlue’s latest investments in Fort Lauderdale underscore its dedication to meeting customer demand. The carrier is offering more flights, new destinations, and enhanced premium experiences.
As the airline continues to grow its network and refine its offerings, South Florida travelers can expect more opportunities to fly in comfort and style.
Whether heading to a new city or enjoying the elevated Mint experience, JetBlue is aiming to make travel from Fort Lauderdale better than ever.
