Etihad Airways, the UAE’s national airline, has shared its July 2025 traffic results, showcasing significant growth in passenger numbers and network expansion.
The airline carried 2 million passengers during the month, a 19% jump from the 1.7 million passengers flown in July 2024.
This surge highlights Etihad’s ability to meet rising travel demand while maintaining efficient operations.

Passenger Uplift
The passenger load factor for July reached an impressive 90%, up from 89% the previous year. This increase reflects strong demand for Etihad’s services and effective use of its growing fleet.
Year-to-date, the airline has welcomed 12.2 million passengers in 2025, a 17% rise compared to the same period in 2024.
The average load factor for the year stands at 88%, compared to 86% last year, signalling consistent growth.
Fleet Expansion
Etihad’s fleet has expanded to 111 aircraft, supporting a network of 81 passenger destinations, up from 76 in 2024. This growth underscores the airline’s commitment to expanding its global reach.
Over the past 12 months, Etihad has carried 20.3 million passengers, a milestone that cements its position as one of the region’s fastest-growing airlines.

Aircraft Deliveries
July marked a record month for fleet growth, with five new aircraft added, including two Boeing 787s, an Airbus A350-1000, an A320, and the first A321LR.
These additions enhance Etihad’s capacity to serve its expanding network, ensuring more travellers can experience its world-class service.
