With 26 April marking World Pilots’ Day, Emirates has put the spotlight on its own aviator roles by announcing significant and exciting changes to flight crew recruitment.

Emirates is taking its pilot recruitment to new heights with a focus on attracting top talent worldwide.

2024 Focus on Flight Crew Recruitment

This year marks a significant shift for the airline, with offers of enhanced salaries, brand new positions, and a wider eligibility net.

First Officers – No Experience Required

Emirates is now welcoming First Officers who haven’t flown wide-body aircraft before. You’ll receive comprehensive training to pilot our impressive fleet of 144 Boeing aircraft, spanning over 140 destinations.

Plus, you’ll be ready to take the controls of the upcoming 205 Boeing 777-X additions from 2025 onwards.

Fast Track to Captain: The Boeing 777 Accelerated Command Programme

The highly sought-after Accelerated Command Programme (ACP) is expanding! Previously exclusive to the A380, this program allows ambitious narrow-body aircraft captains to transition to wide-body flying on Emirates’ fast-track program.

Direct Entry Captains for the A350 Fleet

A callout to all experienced commanders! Emirates is seeking Direct Entry Captains (DECs) to lead its highly anticipated A350 fleet of 65 aircraft.

To sweeten the deal, Emirates has boosted the base salary for both A350 and A380 DEC recruits. Deliveries for the A350s begin mid-year, serving both established and exciting new destinations. The airline also continues to welcome DECs for its A380 fleet.

First Officers with Experience Get Rewarded

For First Officers with over 4,000 flying hours on modern Airbus fly-by-wire or Boeing aircraft, Emirates is offering enticing salary packages.
