Air Transat, crowned the 2024 World’s Best Leisure Airline by Skytrax, has announced a new non-stop flight from Toronto-Pearson (YYZ) to Georgetown, Guyana (GEO).
Starting December 16, 2025, and running until April 24, 2026, this twice-weekly service on Tuesdays and Fridays will connect Canada with Guyana’s vibrant capital.

Sebastian Ponce, Air Transat’s Chief Revenue Officer, shared excitement about the route. “This new flight expands our South American network and makes smart use of our aircraft.”
“It responds to strong demand from the Guyanese community in Canada and appeals to travelers eager to explore new destinations.” The route, developed with input from Guyanese and Canadian authorities, awaits final regulatory approval. Bookings will open soon, according to the airline.
